SARAH WEAVER
DIRECTOR
After leaving the education sector in 2021, I decided to have a complete career change and joined our family business. It was a huge change for me, and I am proud of what I have achieved in a short space of time. I take care of the online marketing and I have also designed our very first bespoke ESL brochure!
For me, the best way to spend my spare time is with Matt and our girls. I enjoy travelling, cooking, reading, walking, boxing, anything involving Musical Theatre and I even manage the odd game watching Nottingham Forest!
MATTHEW WEAVER
MANAGING DIRECTOR
I started in the industry at 17 and in 2002 I took the plunge to open ESL and have never looked back. Since setting up ESL, I have met some lifelong friends, some of which are my customers! I am proud that the staff at ESL always give their all to make sure our customers always get the best possible service.
I am a big family man, so when I do have a bit of spare time, I like to spend it at home. I enjoy cycling, golf, football, walking, travelling and with a beer in hand, I can whip up a great BBQ!
JENNIFER WEAVER
DIRECTOR
After a fulfilling career at ESL, I am now enjoying retirement. My journey was enriched by the rewarding challenges of running a small family business and although I’ve stepped away from the daily hustle, my family connection to ESL still remains strong.
Since retiring, I have become a member of my local U3A which has given me more opportunities to travel and meet new people.
NOEL COVE
OPERATIONS MANAGER
I have been the office manager for the past 18 years taking care of the day to day running of the office & stock control. I also make sure that our warehouse runs smoothly so our customers always have what they need.
Family is important to me, and we travel together to classic car shows up and down the country where I often take part in the events. I also enjoy walking with my dogs.
GEMMA SCOTHERN
ACCOUNTS / SERVICE ADVISOR
I have been a part of the ESL team for 15 years dealing with the day to day running of service and repairs. I enjoy nothing more than helping fix any problem for our customers. I love crunching numbers, so I also take care of ESL’s accounts and credit control.
My spare time is spent mainly with my family. I like to read, travel, eat out, a good game of bingo and I am a keen Saturday morning football mum!
MATT O’DONNELL
SALES
I joined ESL in February 2024 and I feel like I’ve been part of the team forever – in a good way though!
I have been in the hospitality sector pre 2000’s, so I have a wealth of knowledge across the industry.
In my spare time, I enjoy attending concerts with my family, cycling, running and a pint or two at my local pub whilst cheering on my number one team, Nottingham Forest!
ROB ADAMSON
DELIVERY DRIVER
I have a passion for Formula 1 racing and love spending time at the local pub with a pint in my hand. My four dogs keep me active and on my toes and I enjoy taking them for walks with my wife, Cathryn. I have a good pair of sea legs and have cruised around the Caribbean many times. In my spare time, I am meticulous about detailing my cars, including my work van, which I keep spotless—I have even been known to clean it in the rain!

I have been picking, packing and delivering at ESL for 12 years now and I love the banter between me and the customers when I call in with their order!
Rhodes is a place I love and have spent my last 13 years holidaying there. I enjoy weekends away in the campervan and like to take care of the people in the local community.
JOHN PRITCHARD
DELIVERY DRIVER
I am a joiner by trade and whilst hanging some doors at ESL, I quickly become their handy man/delivery driver. Over 8 years later, I am still relied on to distribute orders to our customers!
My grandchildren are my everything and I love to visit my holiday home in Cyprus. I also enjoy nights out with my close friends.
